A passionate advocate for traditional marriage, Donna Kassin is the Founder and Editorial Director of The Real Proposal™ magazine. The birth of The Real Proposal™ is the culmination of a real-life personal journey, in which Donna has had to 'walk the walk', to 'talk the talk' and connect on a deep, intimate level with couples on the myriad issues surrounding Marriage and Relationships. Donna brings to the table an enormous passion to make a positive impact on the lives of couples going through marital struggles, individuals contemplating marriage, and others who may not think of marriage as necessary in today’s world. She also speaks with authority on the other side of marriage – divorce, bereavement, and life after a marriage has ended. Donna draws on her keen interest in individual, community and societal growth and enrichment to initiate and contribute to debates on issues that impact the status of marriage. She is positioned perfectly, through the vantage point of her strong Christian faith and perspective, to remind couples -- whether long married, or just headed to the altar — that wedding vows really are just the beginning of the REAL proposal for Marriage. Donna is currently writing a memoir of her journey through cancer with her late husband, her college sweetheart, whom God brought back into her life after a 22-year absence, seemingly “for such a time as this.”
